Your Identity

Growing up, children are identified by their performance in academics, sports, music, art, or other activities. The person people see is solely based on what people can see, like how smart someone is or how well someone plays on the field. However, a person’s identity is so much more than all of those things. It is the person that we are through Christ Jesus. According to Genesis 1:1, God is the Creator of the heavens and the earth. He made people for His kingdom. God knits a person together in the mother’s womb and designs every cell in the body fit for God’s perfect plan and purpose for life. God wants His people to do extraordinary things in this life, to thrive and not just settle. A person’s identity is not in academics, activities, or achievements; a persons identify is through God.
