Don’t Try to Please Everyone: Grow into Your Destiny

In the past, all I ever cared about was fitting in. I wanted to be like the other girls, have the same career as someone else, be what my parents wanted me to be, and be more social. Oddly, and sadly, I never achieved to be someone or my parents’ vision for my life. I did not want to be an introvert, but God made me that way. God shaped my personality the way he sees fit in His own eyes to fulfill His purposes and plans for my life. He created me to be nurturing, empathetic, caring, and calm to help those in need like I have through the church, my books, and speeches given on how to improve your self-worth and relationship with food.

What is destiny? In simple terms, providence is God’s appointed or ordained future. Fate is what God has predetermined you to be and become in His divine will. In the recent past, I have gotten discouraged overseeing my friends that graduated from college and got jobs within their degrees, and I didn’t. In all, I know that God has me where He wants me to be, and He wants me to shine a light on others through my struggles I have overcome thus far in life from toxic relationships to an unhealthy lifestyle with food.
