Dear Mama

Dear Mama,

Thank you for always being here for me. I have come a long way by your love, compassion, warmth, and advice on life. You made my childhood and teenage years much easier. You have always been here to share a smile, laugh, cry, and so much more. Thank you for being you and being in my life.

Thank you for answering my calls and texts so I can vent and talk about my day. Thank you for your constant love I feel. Being an adult is not easy but you have a way that makes it better. Going back to school and having a job is very hard. Some days I want to cry and bury myself in my pillow at night and wish I had my dream job. Whether it’s a text or call you drop everything to make sure I’m alright.

I love the emojis you send me in a text. The heart you send me I will always keep in my heart. Your typo errors make me laugh. That darn typo. What are we ever going to do with it ha ha. Thank you for the thoughtful emojis and emotion you put behind your words.

Thank you for believing in me. The nights I would stay up and write my books A Colorful Balloon Ride, Lenny the Lizard and His Green Scarf, Spring Brings Summer, and now Girl, Rise and Before & After: Alli Finds Her Happy Weight. I still have a long way to go on my book journey but this is what I want out of life. I would love to have my own bookstore and have my books displayed. I appreciate you wanting me to be a Professional Pet Sitter. Thank you for believing in my entrepreneurship.

Thank you for always being you.

Love,

Allistar
